summer camps are here!

If you’re looking for a forest camp for your preschooler, an outdoor adventure for your pre-teen, or anything in between we’ve got you covered!
Prairie School of DuPage offers one-of-a-kind summer camps that revolve around the natural world, art, games, and fun for kids of all ages. These are all outdoor camps and involve lots of physical activity. Campers do not need to attend Prairie School of DuPage to join the summer camp fun!

wild things

Spend a week in nature at Prairie School of DuPage! Each day the children, ages 3-5, explore 42 acres of prairie, woodlands, and wetlands. Through hiking, building forts and climbing trees, water and mud play, or creating works of nature art, children’s natural curiosity is encouraged, motor skills are developed and friendships are made. There is a maximum of 10 children per camp with a 3-1 child-to-teacher ratio.

Campers should bring their own waste-free vegetarian snack and water bottle. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt on the first day of camp. This is an outdoor camp, so campers should dress for the weather. In the case of severe heat or rain campers will move into a climate-controlled classroom space. Children must be fully potty trained to attend this camp.

Once registration and payment are complete, a camper packet will be sent via email about 2 weeks before the first day of camp.
